Book Haul – May 2016

A few weeks ago I was looking through my books on my bookshelf and realized that most of them are stand-alone books (other than my precious Harry Potter collection of course!). So after much thought and many conversations with bookish friends on series I should definitely read, I came up with a long to-buy list and thankfully, I managed to buy most of those books last month! Thanks to the MPH Warehouse Sale, BookXcess and Popular Bookstore Sale, I was truly blessed to be able to stretch the value of the book vouchers I received as a Malaysian university student. My cousin allowed me to use some of his too so yay! Special mention to my dear friend Ida who gave me her copy of Jojo Moyes’ Me Before You. I absolutely adored the book so if you need some conviction on whether you should read it too, do read my review of it here.

Without further ado, allow me to present to you my book haul for May 2016!

To be honest, most of my selections this month are not ones I would usually buy so I am really excited to see whether I will enjoy this different reading experience. One thing’s for sure, I have enough books to keep me occupied after my final exams late this month! If you’ve read any of these books, do let me know what you think of them. Also, be sure to comment on your top 3 favourite book series. I’m ready to be adventurous! 🙂

Happy reading!
